 FREE MONEY MATTERS SEMINAR  ?MONEY-SMART CHILDREN?

Join our Edward Jones representative Scott Green for a FREE seminar on Thursday, November 10th at 7 pm. The theme of this seminar, ?MONEY-SMART CHILDREN?, is ideal for parents and grandparents of children ages 4 to 12. Learn about great tools and techniques for talking with children and grandchildren about money. The seminar will be held at the Brushy Creek Community Center. No registration necessary, just show up!

SENIOR CELEBRATION SOCIAL

Brushy Creek loves our senior citizens and want to offer a special day just for them. On Tuesday, November 15th from 11 am to 2 pm, our resident seniors can join us at the Brushy Creek Community Center for the Senior Celebration Social that includes free lunch, a speaker from St. David’s, a program preview, a free Zumba Gold class, and more! *While this event is FREE, we do ask that any seniors planning to attend please RSVP to [email protected] or call 512-255-7871 x 218 so that we know how many to provide lunch for.

TEXAS RECYCLES DAY CELEBRATION

Join us at the Brushy Creek Community Center on November 18th from 3:30 to 5 pm to celebrate recycling and learn about how you can re-duce, re-use and re-cycle at the Texas Recycles Day Celebration. A demo booth of recycled art, up-cycled wearable items and daily usable items will be on display for inspiration. Stations of up-cycled projects will be open for kids to create their own items to take home. Patches are available for youth service organization volunteers (Scouts, Campfire, etc).   Contact Rachel at 255-7871 x 405 or [email protected] to reserve your patch and be a part of this event.
