It’s beginning to look a lot like? the holidays!!!  December brings lots of festive opportunities for parents and children to enjoy, so make sure to mark these great programs and events on your calendar and get registered today!

As a reminder, the Brushy Creek Community Center will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 24^th and will only be open from 7 am to 1 pm on Friday, November 25^th.

THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT December 3, 10:30 am to Noon

• Drawing/sketching class for K to 5^th graders. Have your work included in the Sketchbook Project national tour!
• $15/member, $20/resident, $30/non-resident. Advanced registration required. CLICK HERE to register online!

FREE MONEY MATTERS SEMINAR December 7, 7 to 8 pm

• ?SMART RETIREMENT CHOICES?. The seminar will be held at the Community Center
• *Date Change* was originally offered on December 8th, but has been moved to December 7th
• The seminar is free, but we do ask that you register so that we can have enough materials available. CLICK HERE to register online!

HOLIDAY IN THE PARK & CRAFT FAIR December 10, 2 to 5 pm

• *FREE* family event at Cat Hollow Park.
• Activities include inflatables, a trackless train, petting zoo, crafts, games, pictures with Santa and *new* in 2011, a Craft Fair with over 25 vendors!

HOLIDAY CREATIVE CRAFT CAMP December 11, 2 to 5 pm

• Craft camp for 8 to 12 year olds. Make fun crafty things like scrabble tile necklaces and crushed can ornaments! All supplies are provided
• $30/member, $35/resident, $45/non-resident. Advanced registration required. CLICK HERE to register online!

PARENTS SHOPPING DAY December 17, 10 am to 4 pm

• A great chance for parents to get out and do their final holiday shopping without the kids! Let us entertain them for you!
• For 3 to 10 year olds. Please send a sack lunch and drink. Advanced registration required!

CAMP FROZEN FOX December 19 to 23 & December 26-30.

• Winter Break Day Camp at the Community Center for K to 5^th Graders
• Camp occurs from 9 am to 5 pm. Activities include games, gym time, crafts, etc. Some days include field trips!

RED CROSS BABYSITTER TRAINING CERTIFICATION December 21, 10:30 am to 4 pm

• For 11 to 15 year olds interested in babysitting. Advanced registration required and only 10 spaces available.
